| The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is the largest of the toy breed. Breed standards call for them to be between 12-13 inches in height with a weight of 13-18 lbs. They grow a silky coat of moderate length. In adulthood, Cavaliers grow a lengthy feathering on their ears, chest, legs, feet, and tail. Cavaliers come in four colors: Blenheim (chestnut on a white background), Tricolor (black and white with tan markings on cheeks, inside ears, resembling eyebrows, and inside legs), Black and Tan (black with tan markings), and Ruby (rich reddish-brown all over). We have Cavaliers in all four colors. Cavaliers are very affectionate, playful, patient, and eager to please. They love children and other animals. Our Cavaliers are in the 10-13 lb range when grown. We have not had any problems with heart defects. |
