The Maltese is a member of the toy group. They should be 4-7 lb when grown.
They are non-shedding and great for people with allergies. The coat is long,
straight, and lacks an undercoat. The Maltese is very well mannered and
affectionate. They are intelligent, loving, and very devoted to their owner. They
love to cuddle and be held while expecting to be the center of your attention.
